Standing Up for Ontario's Wild

Earthroots actively monitors and responds to government policy, legislation, and regulatory changes that affect forests, wildlife, and wilderness. We analyze complex proposals, participate in consultations, and work directly with provincial and federal governments to strengthen environmental protections.

At a time when long-standing safeguards for nature are being weakened, our role is more important than ever. By holding governments accountable and advocating for strong laws and responsible land stewardship, Earthroots helps defend Ontario’s wild heritage for future generations.

Take Action

Help hold decision-makers accountable, amplify science-based conservation and show that Ontarians refuse to stay silent while our natural heritage is put at risk.

Current Priorities

Ontario's wild is under attack — from legislation that strips away environmental protections to policies that silence science and sell off public lands. Earthroots is on the frontlines, fighting to hold government accountable and defend the laws, lands, and species that sustain life.
