During the Review of Proposed Operations, review and comment from the public is being sought regarding forest operations planned to occur during the first five years of the Temagami forest management plan. The public comment period extends from April 15, 2008 until June 17, 2008. Many key old growth areas are slated for logging and we need your voice to speak out for increased protection of Temagami's wilderness! Please click here to access our template letter which you can cut, paste and then add your own comments to before printing and mailing to the Ministry of Natural Resources. You can also send a free fax directly to the Ministry of Natural Resources through our fax action centre. Information about the forest management planning process, proposed forest operations, information which will be used in the preparation of the plan, and background information about the management unit can be reviewed during normal office hours at the Ministry of Natural Resources North Bay District office. Appointments for viewing are strongly recommended.
